Hello! Thanks for checking out my work

My name is Scott Alberstein and I am an Industrial Designer and Illustrator with more than a decade of experience working with industry-leading clients to launch physical products of all kinds: wearable tech, furniture, interior design, and vehicles. My years of work in consulting have given me the opportunity to work with passionate clients on emerging technologies, while my time as an in-house designer has pushed me to craft products through production and launch.

First and foremost, my process centers around visual communication through mixed media. This includes refined digital sketches, CAD & renderings, contextual visualizations, storyboards, and importantly, final CMF and manufacture. I'm a strong proponent of frequent and early sharing of my thinking to ensure that each team is on the same page and have a say in the design process. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can incorporate a wide variety of expertise to inform my decisions.

In my free time, I restore vintage motorcycles in my personal shop. I love to get my hands dirty with projects that require attention to detail, high levels of craft, and deep mechanical understanding.

I believe in building beautiful and functional objects, humanizing technology, advocating for sustainable choices, and that design plays a key role in how people embrace new products and services.
